Halt! Couture was started in late 2011 by Sharn Rayment - an experienced fashion journalist and editor originally from Essex, currently living in Hertfordshire, who can be found bumming around London on a regular basis.
She describes herself as a "realistic, no-nonsense writer", who started the blog to speak about fashion in a more honest way. Halt! Couture contains a mixture of journalistic and personal reporting, covering everything from Sharn's outfit choices to her thoughts on controversial topics.
