Topshop's dresses are to die for...

Topshop Topshop Topshop. I don't actually normally shop at Topshop. I am/are/was as student (still unsure on that one as I've just finished uni) so I can barely afford their t-shirts, but yesterday I popped in for a quick look and found myself dribbling over some of their new bits, their dresses in particular.

The first one that caught my eye was this cherry red number, complete with white edged boob hearts and a mesh top. It's jokey and fun, but actually, after trying it on, I discovered that it's a very nice and flattering shape. There's only two problems - firstly, it's £48 (!), and secondly, the hearts are quite far apart, making your boobs look like they've fallen sideways some how. Still, I'm keeping an eye out for it when it goes in the sale.

I also stumbled across this Giles Deacon inspired number, printed with swans and complete with a neat Peter Pan collar. It's a tenner cheaper at £38, and is a bit more dainty than the above dress, plus, I just absolutely adore this interesting print. Proof that you don't need to wear neon colours to stand out.

Next up is this simple sheer panel dress, which is only for those with washboard abs... not me then. It falls between the other two price wise at £45 and is similar to both in terms of shape. With a few flashy accessories this would look smashing, but, as with all flesh revealing pieces, please approach with caution.

Lastly I've got my eye on this cute leopard print dress, which really reminds me of a dress I had from Warehouse when I worked there during my teen years. It's a simple shape, but features a bold graphic print, which doesn't need a lot of accessories. Just add some black heels, a clutch bag and a chain necklace and you're there. Easy peasy.

Which is your favourite?
