Rihanna for Armani Jeans - A let down.

Images: Vogue

I love Rihanna. No. I really LOVE Rihanna. I love her music, her swagger, her face, but most of all, her style. When I heard she was teaming up with Armani Jeans I got a little bit excited, but I'm actually disappointed with the end result.

I was hoping it'd capture the essence of her style, not just be a blatant promotional tool. The 'R' top looks like something I wouldn't even buy at her concert and the face printed top looks like something I wore about 5 years ago. C'mon Rihanna - you've got more edge than that!

However, I do like the look of that leather jacket and the cute lace lingerie. But the faded jeans are another no no. Sorry RiRi, but the sketches are better than the actual product!

Chic or Sh*t?: Christopher Kane sandals spring/summer 2012

On Thursday I went to The Communications Store press day to view some beautiful fashion pieces from the likes of Versace, Coach, Roland Mouret, Missoni, Nicholas Oakwell and of course, my favourite, House of Holland.

But amongst the racks of fashion beauties I spotted these monstrosities by Christopher Kane. Now, to be clear, I normally adore anything by Mr Kane, but these are just not falling under the umbrella of loveable Kane products.

I'm pretty sure I had a pair of sandals like these in the ninties, which were bright blue and reflective, with the same velcro straps and unflattering thick sole. Just becase you stick some diamonds on the front and stamp Christopher Kane on the inside, it doesn't make them nice. Or maybe i'm just not cool enough for these yet.

What do you think? Will you be wearing these next summer?
